What you get, and what it is not
The designer gives you two things: a design, generated from your description, and a 3D model you can rotate to see the shape from every side rather than judging it from one flattering angle.
The 3D model shows how the piece looks. It does not carry what a piece needs in order to be made — the ring size, the thickness of the metal, the dimensions of the stone seats and prongs, the wall thicknesses that have to survive casting. It is a picture of an object, not a manufacturing file, and it is not offered as a download. That engineering is done when you order, by people who do it for a living.

Turn a saved design into a 3D model and rotate it, so you are judging the shape rather than one rendering of it.

Consultation
Online, or at the Omotesando salon in Tokyo. This is where the design becomes a specification: size, widths, metal, stones.

Manufacturing data and prototype
The manufacturing data is produced from that specification, and a 3D-printed prototype lets you check shape, thickness and stone positions as a physical object before any metal is cut.

The piece is produced in platinum or 18K gold.

Who runs it
The AI Jewelry Designer is operated by Digital Jewelry Inc. (株式会社デジタルジュエリー), a Japanese company whose jewelry business dates to 1971 and which has produced jewelry with 3D-CAD and 3D printing since 1996. It is based in Fuefuki, Yamanashi, and runs a salon in Omotesando, Tokyo.
That is the part that matters once you have a design you like. Generating an image is the easy half; the constraints a piece has to satisfy to survive casting and stone setting are the other half, and they are handled here rather than left to you to solve.
Questions
Can a design made by an AI jewelry designer actually be manufactured?
Yes, though there is a step in between. What the designer produces is a design, plus a 3D model you can rotate to see the shape. That model shows how the piece looks; it does not yet carry what a piece needs in order to be made — ring size, metal thickness, the dimensions of stone seats and prongs. It is not a manufacturing file. When you decide to order, we work from your design in a consultation, produce the manufacturing data, make a 3D-printed prototype so the shape, thickness and stone positions can be checked as a physical object, and then produce the piece in platinum or 18K gold.
Can I download the 3D file and print it myself?
No. The 3D model here is shown in a viewer so you can judge the design; it is not offered as a download. What it carries is the look of the piece, not the specification a piece needs in order to be produced.
Is the AI Jewelry Designer free to use?
Yes. Generating designs is free and no purchase is required. Designs you like can be saved to a gallery and taken forward into a consultation if you decide to have the piece made.
What kinds of jewelry can it design?
Engagement rings, wedding rings and fashion jewelry. You describe what you want in ordinary language — a material, a motif, a feeling, a stone — and the design is generated from that description.
Is there anything I can order directly, without a consultation?
Yes — for rings designed in metal alone, with no stones, where the design is carried by engraving, relief and surface texture. Wedding rings are a single price of JPY 275,000 for the pair including tax, and engagement rings start at JPY 215,500 including tax.
Is the tool available in English?
The designer interface itself is in Japanese. The generation step accepts a written description, and consultations can be arranged through the company site.
